Our February Favorites!

We wanted to share our favorite and most used products of the month of February!

(from left to right) Ole Henriksen Truth Creme Advanced Hydration, Maybelline The Falsies, Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies, $7.99

I’ve always been picky about mascara.  Personally, I think Maybelline has more hits with mascara compared to other drugstore brands! The falsies mascara is my new favorite! The brush is big enough so a lot of product can be applied without the clumps. It lengthens, and thickens my eyelashes and, most importantly, holds a curl all day!

Maybelline EyeStudio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner, $7.99

I’ve had this liquid liner for about 4 months now, and it is has become my everyday liner. The elongated felt-tip brush is super fine so it allows me to have control to achieve either a very thin straight line or create a thicker cat eye effect.  This liner leaves a deep, pigmented black line with a satiny sheen, and it stays out for 8-10 hours without fading

Ole Henrikson Truth Creme Advanced Hydration, $45

I started using this product during those dreadful winter months where my skin needed a “pick me up.” I don’t know how this brand managed to develop a product that felt so light but is still able to fully hydrate my skin. This moisturizer can be used during the day (although, no SPF) or at night. All skin types can benefit from this moisturizer whether you’re on the dry side or oily side. The anti- aging properties are a great plus too!

(from left to right) Benefit Hoola Bronzer, Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm, Korres Mango Lip Butter in Nude

Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm, $34

I really like this BB cream a lot- it fits my skin tone perfectly! It has a minty smell to it, which I actually didn’t like at first but now has grown on me.  The cream is suppose to “minimizes pores, lines, wrinkles, and redness instantly” and Benefit has definitely achieved that wit this product. The color of the cream is light to medium with a peachy/tan/beige that is warm toned. This cream isn’t full coverage- actually it’s barely any coverage- but it does provide an overall soft and smooth look. I have fairly good skin so this BB cream works perfect for me, since I prefer NOT to wear foundation unless it’s for a special event.

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Bronzer, $28

I’ve been reaching for this bronzer just to slightly warm up my face.  At first I thought this bronzer was a bit too orangey and I let this fall to the back of my make up collection.  I recently found it again and I haven’t been able to put it down since! If you fair skin,  you may have to work with this product a bit to make sure you don’t look like an like a cast member of the Jersey Shore.  However for those with medium/olive skin tones this project is great.  If you like to contour your face, this product is excellent for that because it’s matte and very buildable.

Korres Mango Butter Lipstick SPF 10 in Nude, $18

This is a great nude lipstick that is fool proof.  It has a slight fruity scent which is actually very pleasant smelling.   It is moisturizing, and creamy so it glides onto your  lips without drying them out. The color is a very natural nude that looks great on the majority of skin tones.  It perfect for the day or night.

What beauty products did you love this past month?
